Overflow Rewind 1/25/09

A rundown of what happened last week at Overflow:

• We learned about a new spray that we all need.
• We had a race to see who could find the most random items.
• Worship Set: The Happy Song, May the Few, Mighty to Save
• This was the third and final week of our series called ALL.  We learned how God wants us to be ALL OVER! 
• Main Text: Acts 1:8
• Main Thought: Let your ACTIONS and WORDS share the gospel ALL OVER.
• We’re taking on the challenge of buying a goat for those in need.
• To close out the Bible study we showed this video.

Overflow Rewind 1/18/09

A rundown of what happened last week at Overflow:

• We saw some people make some funny faces.
• We found out that we don’t pay very close attention to what’s printed on our quarters.
• We had some amazing female dancers show us some motions to one of our songs.
• Worship Set: Everyday, Every Move I Make, Enough
• This was the second week of our series called ALL.  We learned how God wants us to be ALL IN! 
• Main Text: 1 Corinthians 10:31
• Main Thought: When we place our ALL IN GOD…ALL people will see is GOD IN US.
• To close out the Bible study we showed this video

Announcements for the Week:

M-Fuge– Deposits for mfuge are due next Sunday, January 25^th.  This $50 deposit will secure your spot for our summer camp this July.  There are now only 23 more spots, so sign up soon!

 

Church Wide Souper Bowl Fellowship – Sunday night Feb. 1^st at 6:00pm.  Come watch the game and enjoy some time to hang out with friends.  There will be a 3 on 3 football tournament going on too.  If you want to be part of the tournament you must sign up with Adam by January 28th.

 

Overflow Rewind…1/11/09

Here’s what went down last Sunday at Overflow in case you missed it:

• We were amazed at a chimpanzee riding on a segway.
• No one was able to win our bumper car game, so we’ll have to try again later.
• We had a bunch of announcement helpers.
• Worship Set: We Shine (video), You’re Worthy of My Praise, and We are Hungry
• We kicked off a new series called ALL!  The first week we talked about all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. 
• Main Thought: God is CRAZY about ALL of you…will you be CRAZY about ALL of Him?

Overflow Starts Back THIS Sunday!!!

Make sure you make it to the first OVERFLOW of 2009 this Sunday!  We’re beginning a new series called ALL.  It’s going to be AWESOME!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Hey everyone!  I want to wish you all a happy new year!  This is going to be a great year filled with lots of surprises, and I can’t wait to see what God is going to do in all of you.  Our small groups are going to start back up onJanuary 7th, and I look forward to seeing you at our first Overflow meeting of the new year on January 11th.  Don’t forget to bring a friend!!!

Christmas Fun

We had a BLAST at our youth Christmas party last Sunday night.  We had some VERY SPECIALguests stop by to help us solve the mystery of Did Grandma Get Run Over by the Reindeer.  If you want to know what happened to Grandma just ask one of our students.  We also played the gift swap game.  The 3 top gifts of the night were play-doh, fun dip, and some power ranger figures.  Everyone had a lot of fun, and ended up with something fun.  Maybe we can see one of the gifts again next year.  Thank you to all the parents and adults who brought some “goodies” to share with our students.
